Easeus Partition Master Home Edition is a FREE disk partitioning tool that has a range of functions such as resizing partitions, formatting partitions, copying partitions, creating new partitions, deleting partitions and more.

Users can resize and move partitions without losing data, use Disk Copy and Partition Copy to protect data and Create, Delete and Format partitions with simple steps and Hide or Unhide partitions.

This is a simple to use program that is ideal for creating separate partitions on large drives. Once the partitions have been created users can copy the whole of their C drive into unallocated space, which is great if you need to reinstall your system at any time.

Use other partitions to store downloaded programs, photos, music, important document or anything that you want to.

You can set your operating system on the C drive, carry out all updates, move the program files to a separate partition, and music, photos etc to other partitions and then copy the C drive to unallocated space.

Should your C drive become corrupt or infected with malware, simply copy the contents back from the partition containing the copy of your C drive, all of your updates, patches are there.

The Copy wizard offers the following:
Partition Copy which gives users a fast file-by-file copy to save time as well as protect data before any operations.

Hard Disk Copy will automatically copy the files one by one or sector by sector which will be identical to the original AFTER checking the partitions to create a backup.

Each operation performed is listed in the left column under ‘operations pending’ and will only be carried out when users click the ‘Apply’ button, then the system will reboot and create the partitions. Users can also click ‘Undo’ to remove each step.

The Disk Map gives a visual demonstration of your disk/partition configuration so that you can preview the changes before applying.

Once you have created your partitions it is necessary to reboot so that the program will create the partitions on your hard drive, then it will prompt you to reboot again as Windows will find ‘new devices’ which are the partitions and a reboot is necessary to complete the installation of the drivers.

Once the partitions have all been created, reboot then open My Computer and move important files to one of the partitions by simply using drag and drop. They can then be safely removed from the C drive.
