Advanced PC Tweaker is yet another program that promises to clean and optimize users computers as well as repairing faults, cleaning the registry, uninstalling programs and a heap more.

The main interface is quite patchy around the text and graphics which one would expect to be quite clear and not slightly blurred.
The left side also lists all of the programs abilities from Registry Repair through to 1-Click Tweak.

One hour later and it was still scanning the registry, having already found 3385 'problems' of which 3256 were in the Registry and it was still increasing when I aborted the scan.
I had seen enough to be convinced that this was yet another fake scanner gaining credibility by being listed on Google's Sponsored Listings and being sold through Clickbank.

This is typical scareware, by scanning users computers and generating false results in a bid to get users to purchase the program which will cause more damage and possibly render the computer useless.
To be offered on many sites as a free download it gives the criminals greater credibility and users purchasing such programs are are greater risk of ID Theft and Fraud.
This program was run within a Sandbox on a PC with a 35GB Hard Drive with 8.57GB Used Space, CPU 2.00 Ghz and 1.5GB RAM.
The Registry had been checked for errors, CHKDSK run, Temp files removed, system rebooted then installed.
Simple advice is to keep well away from any program that promises to clean, repair and optimize your computer.
Many users fall victim to these scams and for the criminals behind them it is a very lucrative business, especially if they get users Credit Card details.

I just purchased Advanced PC Tweaker.This software co.states they have a 60 Day Money Back Guarantee.I have e-mailed them twice asking for a refund and they ignored both e-mails.They replied to the first e-mail,with an answer to a different problem.There was no answer about refunding my money.I e-mailed them again,telling them that I want my payment refunded,as promised in your 60 Day Money Back Guarantee.They have not replied to this e-mail.There is no other way to contact them.How can I get my money refunded?Please Help me.Thank You,Jerry Mellon
Jerry - Advanced PC Tweaker is a typical rogue program where the vendor only wants your payment.
Their guarantee is worth nothing and the chances of getting any response from the vendors is highly unlikely even though they state that any email enquiry will be responded to 'within 24 hours'.
If you paid by credit card contact your card issuer and explain the situation to them as this is a fraudulent transaction.
