Cloudberry Twitter – Free Add-on
CloudBerry Twitter is a toolbar add-on for Internet Explorer and Firefox and it helps you to post excerpts from the websites you visit with a few clicks and also attaches a short URL to the source page.
Cloudberry Twitter uses Chilp. It which is a url shortening service which is included and automatically shortens url's.
For Internet Explorer simply click on the download link and close your browser, run the installation, accept the agreement and it will install.
Restart Internet Explorer, if you cannot see the Tweet addon, click on View > Toolbars and click on Cloudberry Twitter plugin, it will then show on your toolbar.
To install this on Firefox, click on the download link and it will redirect you to the Firefox Add-ons, you will need to login to download Cloudberry Tweetfox as it is still in Beta, but I have been using it for several weeks and it works fine with no problems.
For Firefox users you will only need a Twitter account.
For Internet Explorer users requirements are Windows XP/2003/Vista, Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and a Twitter account.
This is a free tool that you download and install on your browser, then simply select some text on the web page, click the Tweet icon and the Twitter icon will open a small popup showing the text and on the bottom left the Chilp. It link.
Modify the text if you so wish or leave it as it is, click Tweet and enter your Twitter Username and Password and it will be sent to Twitter and the popup closes.
Simply download, install, restart your browser, no registration required and twitter away.
Quick, simple, easy.
